Lähellä.fi Info and Training Sessions 2025 (provided in Finnish)

We organise monthly information sessions in spring and autumn about the Lähellä.fi service, how to use it, and how to register. In these sessions, we also answer any possible questions and provide guidance on how to make the most of Lähellä.fi. Each session covers the basics of the service, including registration and how to fill in an activity submission form. Additionally, each session often features a special, current theme. The info sessions and trainings are provided in Finnish.

Lähellä.fi is a national online service where non-governmental organisations, clubs, associations, and communities can share and promote their activities, events, support and help services, and volunteering activities.

The service is maintained and developed by the Lähellä.fi network, which consists of regional operators across Finland. Any association, anywhere in the country, can start using the service.

In addition to the information sessions, we organise a training programme on clear communication throughout the year. All info and training sessions are held online via Teams and are free of charge for all NGO actors.
