Safe walking on the Linnanmaa campus – welcome indoors!
When Oulu’s winter brings slippery and cold conditions, moving outdoors can feel challenging. That’s why the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences (Oamk) Linnanmaa campus offers older people and anyone interested the chance to enjoy walking in safe and warm indoor spaces.
You can come to the campus at your own pace and take a gentle walk along bright corridors, right in the midst of academic life. There’s plenty of space to move and rest on the campus. The route from one end of the indoor campus to the other is about 800 metres long.
