English-speaking Arts & Crafts club for anyone interested in painting, woodworking, paper making or book binding!

Come hone your skills in English and handicrafts! We will meet twice a week at the Hirvitalo workshop, all through August. You can come to every meeting or just stop by whenever you have time! We will have three kinds of sessions: painting, woodwork, and binding a book out of self-made paper. You may also combine the three parts into one project by sculpting & painting self-made covers for the book you will bind. Other ideas are also welcome. Our guide will be Robert Eftychiou, an American-Cypriot artist and painter. We will start each session with some theory and practice, after which you will have free time to work on your project. No previous experience needed! Just an interest to learn and strong enough English skills to follow the instructions. More experienced crafters are also welcome to come join and make use of our tools and workspace. See you in August!
